摘要：A sintered body consisting wholly or predominantly of partially stabilisedzirconium oxide has a crystal phase composition of the zirconium oxide which consists of40 to 70 % by volume of the cubic modification, 30 to 70 % by volume of the tetragonalmodification and up to 10 % by volume of the monoclinic modification, the tetragonal andmonoclinic phase fractions being in the form of precipitations of a mean size of 5 to 100mu m in zirconium oxide grains consisting of the cubic phase, the zirconium oxide beingstabilised with a mixture of oxides which arithmetically corresponds to an equivalentadded quantity of 2.5 to 4.5 % by weight of magnesium oxide, the mixture of thestabilising oxides also containing yttrium oxide in addition to magnesium oxide and/or agram-equivalent quantity of calcium oxide, and the added quantity of stabilising oxides,arithmetically related to magnesium oxide, being replaced by 10 to 70 % of a gram-equivalent quantity of yttrium oxide.
