摘要：The invention relates to a method and a device (1) for comminuting micro-organisms contained in the sewage sludge of a sewage treatment works. According tosaid method, a volume containing the micro-organisms is first compressed in a pressurechamber, emerges through an outlet (4) after the abrupt opening of the latter andsubsequently strikes an impact element (5). This produces high tensile and shear forceswhich are used to liquidate the internal structure of the micro-organisms and theirmutual bonds, in order to prepare favourable conditions for a subsequent conversionprocess. Said invention significantly reduces production and operating costs for thedevice (1), in comparison with conventional treatment works used in practice, and at thesame time substantially increases operational safety.
